Almost Out of Here
It's been an arduous past two weeks. Our preparation for our upcoming move has been anything but easy; however, we feel that we've accomplished a lot. Today we drop off one car, do the last load of laundry at our apartment for the last time, and sleep in our bed for the last night. I am both excited and anxious, but I suppose those emotions can be expected when you are moving to a new state with your eyes peeled open and your brain struggling to return itself to former days of uncertainty (i.e., no job, no home, no friends).
We will not have an address for a few weeks but we'll get to roam free like a small herd of two exploring nomads with a hankering for pineapples. The water will be warm, the bugs will be bigger, the air temperature will be hotter, the roads with less cars, the hour will feel earlier, and we will be adventurous.
As soon as I find an internet connection there, I'll post new pictures and descriptions. Wish us luck!
